Police were searching Thursday for a suspect in a larceny at a Patchogue store whose getaway car was involved in a hit-and-run that left the other driver injured.

The suspect, a man, stole merchandise from Work ‘N Gear in Gateway Plaza on Sunrise Highway about 11 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
