A Deer Park woman, stopped by Suffolk County police for using her cellphone while driving on the Long Island Expressway early Thursday, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after the officer making the traffic stop discovered she’d had her license suspended 29 times — since January 2012.

Erica Laso, 33, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and was issued a summons for distracted driving after the stop on the westbound LIE between Exit 53 and Exit 52 at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Police said she also faces outstanding charges for failure to answer or appear to pay fines for prior offenses.

Police said Highway Patrol officer Todd Collier made the stop after he saw Laso using a phone without a hands-free device as she drove past in her 2001 Toyota Sienna.

She faces arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
