A 19-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested on reckless and drunken driving charges after he crashed his car into a car parked in a driveway and then struck a house late Sunday, Nassau County police said.

The 11:27 p.m. crash on Heritage Court in Valley Stream occurred one block north of Dawson Drive, where the driver lives, police said.

Police said the driver, identified as Manny Pizarro, was headed south on Mill Road when he lost control of his car and crashed into a car parked in the driveway of a home on Heritage Court. His car then continued on, police said, striking the home. No one inside the house was injured.

Police said Pizarro suffered a neck injury in the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

He was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and DWI and police said he will face arraignment as soon as is practical to do so.
