A Port Jefferson Station woman was arrested early Thursday and charged with DWI after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash in her community, police said.

Amanda Gibaldi, 33, was driving a 2017 Ford Escape when the accident happened at 12:30 a.m. on Clifton Place, Suffolk County police said.

It was not immediately known whether the other vehicle involved was moving or parked.

Gibaldi was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

She faces a driving while intoxicated charge, police said.
