A New Rochelle woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she crashed her car and it landed upside down on the front lawn of a police precinct in West Babylon, police said.

Samantha Jefairjian, 25, was behind the wheel of a 2004 Nissan when it rolled over at 5:15 a.m. and came to a stop on its roof in front of 555 Rte. 109, the address of the Suffolk County Police Department’s First Precinct, a Suffolk police spokeswoman said.

No other cars were involved and no passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, the spokeswoman said, and Jefairjian was uninjured.

Jefairjian was arraigned Saturday afternoon at First District Court in Central Islip. She pleaded not guilty and her license was suspended. She was released and is due back in court Dec. 19.

Attorney information for Jefairjian was not immediately available.

It was unclear where Jefairjian was coming from or traveling to at the time of the crash, police said.
