Suffolk County police are trying to determine who shot a man in the face in front of his Greenlawn home late Tuesday.

Police said the man was talking with a woman on Lafayette Street at about 11:15 p.m. when “multiple shots were fired.”

The man was hit and taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Second Squad detectives said.
