Who stole a flatbed truck earlier this month from a business in St. James? That’s the question police are asking.

And, they’re hoping the public can help answer it.

Suffolk County police said Wednesday that the truck, a 2001 International flatbed, was stolen from the parking lot of Harbor Collision, at 931 Middle Country Rd., on Jan. 1.

The theft occurred at about 8:30 p.m.

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential — and police said callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
