Man found fatally stabbed in Levittown home, police say
A 70-year-old man was found fatally stabbed in a Levittown home Friday, Nassau County police said.
The man was identified as William Cahoon, according to a news release.
Second Precinct officers received a call at 6:44 p.m. Friday to conduct a “well check” at a home on Shepard Lane.
There, they found the body of Cahoon in one of the bedrooms, police said.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating. Police are asking anyone with information to call the squad at 516-573-7788 or Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
