Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police have released a surveillance image of a man they said they are seeking in connection with criminal mischief at the ferry terminal office on West Broadway in Port Jefferson between 4:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016. Credit: SCPD

He broke glass on an entry door Saturday at the Bridgeport and Port Jefferson Steamboat Co.

But surveillance video captured the suspect, in shorts and a T-shirt, smoking a cigarette near the scene.

Suffolk County police said the act of criminal mischief occurred at the ferry terminal office on West Broadway between 4:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. And police want to know if you recognize the man — and if you do, call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.

All calls will remain confidential. Callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
