A Queens man has been charged with 13 different thefts of rims and tires from parked cars — all Honda Accords — in Elmont over the last three months, Nassau County police said.

According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call at 5:45 a.m. Saturday for a disturbance on Home Street and found a man, 41, struggling with Benjamin Camille, 24, of 230th Street.

The officers and the man subdued Camille and determined that he had taken four tires and rims from the man’s Honda Accord and placed them in his own Honda Civic, police said.

Police said an investigation revealed the defendant was responsible for the following larcenies of rims and tires in Elmont:

  • On Sept. 22, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Rifton Street.
  • On Sept. 10, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Marguerite Avenue.
  • On Sept. 2, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Ely Court.
  • On Sept. 1, a 2016 Honda Accord parked on Hoffman Avenue.
  • On Sept. 1, a 2016 Honda Accord parked on Kingston Street.
  • On Aug. 31, a 2013 Honda Accord parked on Ludlam Avenue.
  • On Aug. 2, a 2016 Honda Accord parked on Fieldmere Street.
  • On Aug. 1, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Fieldmere Street.
  • On Aug. 1, a 2015 Honda Accord parked on Fieldmere Street.
  • On Aug. 1, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Fieldmere Street.
  • On July 31, a 2014 Honda Accord parked on Baylis Avenue.
  • On July 26, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Renfrew Avenue.
  • On July 7, a 2017 Honda Accord parked on Diamond Street.

Camille is charged with first-degree auto stripping, third-degree grand larceny and 13 counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. He is to be arraigned Sunday in First District Court in Hempstead.
