Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating three men who entered a Massapequa apartment armed with handguns, ordered 11 people playing a card game to the ground and pistol-whipped one of the victims.

Police said the incident happened Saturday at 2:30 a.m. at a Margaretta Avenue apartment when the three men, described as in their 20s, also removed personal property from one of the victims and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim who was pistol-whipped is 48 years old and received life-threatening injuries to his head, detectives said.

Police said all the victims are males and that the suspects ran east on Oakley Avenue.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
