Nassau police on Thursday arrested a Philadelphia man who they said exposed his genitals to four girls in the county through an online video chat room almost a year ago.
David Dargenio, 35, of Wolf Street, was arraigned Thursday before Nassau District Court Judge Eileen Goggin in First District Court in Hempstead on four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of third-degree obscenity, court records show.
He was being held at the Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow on $25,000 bond or $20,000 cash bail, jail officials said. He is due back in court on Jan. 14, according to court records.
His attorney, David Anthony Moreno Jr. of Manhattan, could not be reached for comment.
Special Victims Squad detectives said Dargenio was using the House Party video chat app on Feb. 21, 2018, when he entered a chat room with four girls who were watching from Nassau County. At some point, police said, he exposed his genitals to the group.
Dargenio was arrested Thursday after an investigation with the help of the Pennsylvania State Police, authorities said
