An armed and masked man not only robbed a 7-Eleven in Bellmore late Monday, he also tied the sales clerk’s hands behind his back, Nassau police said.

After showing an automatic handgun to the 41-year-old male clerk, the robber demanded cash before using a zip tie to bind the worker’s hands, police said.

The robber, who wore latex gloves, made off with an undetermined amount of cash from two registers, plus several packs of Newport cigarettes, the police statement said.

He fled on foot, headed north toward Sunrise Highway, from the store at 2540 Merrick Rd.
