An unidentified woman who stole a UPS package left outside the front door of a Ronkonkoma home last month is being sought by Suffolk County police.

The woman, driving a silver SUV that was possibly a Nissan Pathfinder, pulled into the driveway of the home and stole the package containing two pairs of shoes about 12:30 p.m. on May 16, police said in a Friday news release.

The suspect wanted for the petit larceny is described to have dark hair. She was wearing glasses, gray pants and a gray jacket with her hair in a ponytail at the time of the heist, police said.

Two images taken from a surveillance camera at the residence that were released by police show a woman carrying a box to a vehicle.

A $5,000 cash reward is being offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information on the woman’s identity that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this woman or crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
