Queens woman made purchases with forged Visa card, cops say

A Queens woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Westbury after she attempted to make a purchase with a forged Visa card, Nassau police said.

Briana Quinones, 18, tried to use the card at a Micro Center computer department store on Merrick Avenue in Westbury, according to a report from detectives with the Major Case Bureau’s Crimes Against Property unit.

Arresting officers found three additional forged credit cards in her possession, police said.

Quinones is being charged with four counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument.

She will be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
