Ronkonkoma residents injured by shotgun fired through door, cops say

Detectives said they are investigating a predawn shooting Thursday at a private house in Ronkonkoma.
A man and a woman inside the house on Pawnee Street near Mohawk Avenue were injured when a shotgun was fired through a door about 4 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
They were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening police said.
No arrests have been made, police said, and other details were not immediately available.
