Roosevelt Dunkin’ Donuts robbed at gunpoint, police say

Police are searching for two men who robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts at gunpoint Wednesday night in Roosevelt.

The armed robbery at the store at 306 Nassau Rd. occurred at 8:52 p.m., Nassau County police said.

Police said the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash, emptying the cash register contents into “a drawstring type bag” they brought with them. There were no reported injuries.

One of the suspects wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled down, dark-colored pants, black gloves and carried a lime green backpack. The other wore a black ski mask, black gloves and carried a small black handgun with a silver slide, police said. He also carried a red or orange drawstring bag.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspects or the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
