Teenage stepbrothers have been arrested in a shooting last month in a Long Island Rail Road parking lot in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said Thursday.

Jonattan Canales, 18, and Cesar Moncada, 19, both of Tower Street in Huntington Station, were charged with first-degree assault in connection with the shooting of Jose Jurado, 20, also of Huntington Station, about 8 p.m. on April 23, police said.

The men were arrested Wednesday night at the Second Precinct.

After the shooting, police said Jurado was found at a 7-Eleven on New York Avenue, where someone called police.

He told detectives he had been walking through the railroad station parking lot when a man stepped from a vehicle and shot him in the foot. Police did not say what evidence they believe linked Canales and Moncada to the shooting.

Police said the shooting seemed to be drug-related.
