Swastika among graffiti found in Stewart Manor, Nassau cops say

Nassau County police are trying to determine who spray-painted graffiti — including swastikas — in a Stewart Manor neighborhood early Tuesday.

Police said they found one swastika painted on the sidewalk in front of a Stewart Avenue house, and that smiley faces and other swastikas were painted on nearby trees and utility poles.

Green paint was used for all the graffiti, police said.

Anyone with more information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All information will be kept confidential.
