A woman leaving a Chase Bank in Valley Stream was robbed at gunpoint of cash, jewelry and her cellphone late Thursday, Nassau County police said.
The woman, 25, told police two men, one armed with a black handgun, approached her at about 9:30 p.m. as she was returning to her vehicle at the bank at 930 Rosedale Rd.
Police said the two men forcibly removed the woman’s cellphone and assorted jewelry and took an unspecified amount of cash from her pocketbook.
The men then got into a black four-door Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by a woman and drove west on Rosedale Road.
The woman was not injured, police said.
One man is described as heavy, about 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-11 and with a beard; he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, black pants, black winter hat and was armed.
The other man is also described as between 30 and 40 years old, about 6 feet tall and thin; he had a small patch of chin hair and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black boots.
The driver, a woman, is between 25 and 30 years old and wore a black jacket and a black winter hat.
