A New Jersey woman was arrested Friday after she attempted to use a forged credit card at a Dave & Buster’s arcade in Westbury, police said.

Michelle Washington, 27, of Bloomfield, presented a forged, re-encoded MasterCard while making a purchase at the gaming hub and eatery on Old Country Road about 9:30 p.m., Nassau County police said in a news release.

While Washington was being arrested, officers found marijuana and four additional forged credit cards in her possession, the news release said.

Attorney information for Washington was not immediately available Saturday morning. Attempts to reach her relatives were unsuccessful. A call made to the Dave & Buster’s location went unanswered.

Washington is charged with five counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument; attempted petty larceny; and unlawful possession of marijuana.

She is set to be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
