December 2018 home prices on Long Island

Amid a slowdown in sales, the median price rises again in December.

Despite a slowdown in sales activity, the median prices of homes sold on Long Island rose again in December, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. Suffolk saw a 5.3 percent year-over-year rise to a median of $380,000. In Nassau, the increase was 4 percent, to $515,000. Here are the details, posted on Jan 16, 2019.
