Long Island home prices in April 2019

Prices rose in a year by 5.6 percent in Suffolk and 3.1 percent in Nassau

The median price of a home sold in Suffolk County in April was up 5.6 percent from the year before to $380,000, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. In Nassau, the median price rose 3.1 percent to $505,000. Here are the monthly details, posted on May 15:

Nassau, with higher prices, sees a 3.1% rise . . .
