A passenger on a fishing boat heading out to a shark-fishing tournament was killed when the boat was struck under the Robert Moses Causeway by a Skater powerboat, Suffolk police said. The powerboat's operator, identified by police as Brian Andreski, 26, of Dix Hills, was charged with boating while intoxicated. The man killed has been identified as Christopher Mannino, 39.
