The lock on a shed was broken and three bikes were stolen at a Barberry Lane home on Feb. 7.

Jewelry was discovered missing from a Theodore Drive residence Feb. 8.

East Hampton

On Feb. 11 a Dayton Lane resident, 88, reported a possible scam after receiving a phone call from an unknown man stating he was a winner of a cash prize. The alleged victim did not provide any personal information and hung up on the caller.


Cut flowers valued at $600 were stolen from a greenhouse on Main Road Feb. 10.

Mastic Beach

A unknown male stole money from 123 Country Mart on Neighborhood Road Feb. 7.


A storage unit containing tools at the rear of Associates Market on Route 112, was stolen Feb. 8.

A backhoe was discovered stolen Feb. 11 from behind a business on Route 112.

Middle Island

A Lake Grove man, 53, was arrested on Devon Lane Feb. 11 on charges of entering Wellington Bar and Grill on Middle Country Road through a rear window and stealing the cash drawer.

North Bellport

A PlayStation 3 was stolen from a house on Post Avenue Feb. 9. The home's rear window was broken to gain entry.


A woman was harassed by an unknown man in the parking lot of Tanger 2 on West Main Street Feb. 13.

An unknown man stole 42 shirts, valued at more than $2,800, from Lacoste on West Main Street Feb. 13.

A GPS unit was stolen Feb. 11 from an unlocked vehicle on Kings Drive.

Two handicap parking signs were stolen from a lot on Roanoke Avenue Feb. 11.

A 28-year-old man was arrested Feb. 9 at police headquarters and accused of grand larceny and stripping automobiles.

Sag Harbor

A Sag Harbor man, 23, was arrested Feb. 7 after a traffic stop on Route 114 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle with unlawful tinted windows.


An unknown person entered an unlocked garage on Merrick Road Feb. 11 and stole a Yamaha and a Kawasaki dirt bike.

A Shirley man was arrested Feb. 7 at a Hallmark store on Montauk Highway after allegedly stealing Valentine's Day candy.

A 17-year-old Shirley girl was charged Feb. 9 with stealing clothing and makeup from Kohl's on Montauk Highway.


A Southampton man, 48, was stopped for speeding on Good Ground Road Feb. 10 and arrested on charges that included driving while intoxicated.

Wading River

A suspicious person was reported Feb. 13 on Sound Road.

A house on Long View Road was burglarized Feb. 9.

The windshield of a vehicle on Dogwood Drive was damaged Feb. 9.

A bicycle was found Feb. 7 in front of a residence on Maidstone Lane.


Blue Point

A burglar entered a house on Oyster Cove Road through a back window and stole undisclosed items Feb. 9.


An unknown person stole a diamond ring from Diamond Jewelers on Middle Country Road Feb. 9.

East Patchogue

The rear Plexiglas window of My Hero deli on Country Road 101 was pushed in and a box containing $50 in change was stolen Feb. 8.


A 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck was stolen Feb. 11 from the parking lot of 7-Eleven on Country Road 16. The keys had been left in the unattended vehicle.

A window of a vehicle parked at KK Athletics on Horseblock Road was broken Feb. 7. A cell phone, money and credit cards were taken.


Cash was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Muriel Street Feb. 9.


A burglar entered a house on Pearl Street Feb. 9 through a bathroom window and stole a TV and a laptop.
