Reports from county or village police, Dec. 27-Jan. 2


A mailbox and post, valued at $40, were stolen from Linda Avenue on Jan. 1.

Christmas decorations and a vehicle parked at a Trout Brook Lane residence were damaged Jan. 1.

Baiting Hollow

Hunters were reported on Edwards Avenue on Dec. 27.

A Magellan GPS navigation unit, valued at $300, was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Bluffs Drive South on Jan. 2.


A burglar entered H2O Custom Aquatics on Station Road by smashing a plate-glass window Dec. 27, and stole a 32-inch television.

A blue 1997 Plymouth Voyager was discovered stolen Dec. 27 from a driveway on Champlin Avenue.

A 1999 Mercedes, a 1971 Chevy pickup, jewelry and credit cards were stolen from a residence on Head of the Neck Road on Dec. 28.


Hunters were reported on Middle Country Road on Dec. 27.

Center Moriches

Graffiti was discovered Dec. 28 painted on the security doors of a Main Street business.

East Hampton

Two East Hampton men, 25 and 30, were arrested Jan. 1 on Montauk Highway for criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana charges.

An East Hampton man, 20, was arrested Dec. 29 on Main Street and charged with second-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment. His bail was set at $20,000.

A 2004 black Chevy truck on Park Place was scratched Dec. 31.

A 74-year-old man's brown wallet was lost on Park Place on Dec. 30.


A mailbox was damaged on Tuthills Lane on Dec. 30.

The window on a vehicle on Second Street was broken Dec. 29.

Several locations on Green and Second streets and South Jamesport Avenue were marked with graffiti Dec. 28.


A burglar pried open the rear bedroom window of a house on Lancaster Court Dec. 28 and stole jewelry.


A Southold woman, 53, was arrested Dec. 27 in the HomeGoods parking lot on Old Country Road and charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicle and traffic violations.

Cash and jewelry, valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a Doctors Path residence Jan. 1.

Mailboxes were damaged on Church and West lanes Dec. 30.

A GPS navigation unit was stolen from a vehicle parked at Riverhead Auto Mall on Old Country Road on Dec. 29.

The rear window of a vehicle parked at Tanger II Outlet Center on West Main Street was damaged Dec. 27, and a backpack containing $500 and clothing valued at $280 were stolen.


A Hampton Bays man, 38, allegedly driving while intoxicated, was arrested Jan. 1 on Flanders Road.

Rocky Point

A Pioneer radio was discovered stolen Dec. 27 from a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta parked in driveway on Garland Road.

Wading River

On Jan. 1, four tires on a vehicle and garage screen windows were slashed, and two windows and a fence rail were broken at an Anna Court residence. The damage was valued at more than $1,000.

A GPS navigating unit, valued at $250, was stolen from a vehicle on Old Orchard Place on Jan. 1.



Cash and a mace kit were discovered stolen Dec. 28 from a 2010 Mazda on Imperial Way.

East Patchogue

A 2001 ATV was discovered stolen Dec. 28 from a residence on Dunton Avenue.

A gift card, valued at $200, a wallet and cash were stolen from a 2008 Chevy parked on Pine Neck Avenue on Dec. 27.

North Patchogue

The rear door of Ronnie's Deli on Traction Boulevard was discovered pried open Dec. 27. The ATM machine inside had been broken into and cash stolen.

Rocky Point

A Pioneer radio was discovered stolen Dec. 27 from a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta parked in driveway on Garland Road.


A plate-glass window was discovered broken Dec. 28 at Microcontrollers Suppliers on Koehler Avenue.
