6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at North Country Road Middle School.

The district proposes a $71,190,675 budget for 2017-18, a 0.83 percent increase from the current $70,602,887. The tax levy would increase by 0.61 percent, from $44,757,730 to $45,028,780. This increase is equal to the district’s tax-cap limit, so a simple majority will be required to approve the budget. School taxes on the average single-family house would increase by 0.77 percent, from $8,292.31 to $8,356.19.

The proposed budget includes a 0.9 percent contractual salary increase and an average 2.89 percent step increase for teachers.
