Still deciding on which fireworks display to go to Monday night?

Here are details on two of the biggest to help you decide:

Jones Beach Fireworks

The Astoria Bank Fireworks at Jones Beach’s Central Mall, returning this year for the first time since 2009, begins at 9:30 p.m.

A $10 parking fee applies per car, and vehicles will be directed to use the parking fields until they’re at capacity.

Motorists will no longer be able to park along the Ocean Parkway shoulder.

The show is expected to last 30 minutes.

Park officials suggest listening to radio stations WALK 97.5 and K98.3 for traffic information.

Macy’s Fireworks on the East River

The Macy’s Fireworks in New York City begins at 8 p.m.

The fireworks will launch from a barge at South Street Seaport and four barges on the East River between 23rd and 37th streets.

Designated viewing areas are established along FDR Drive on Manhattan’s East Side and at the South Street Seaport piers in Lower Manhattan. The fireworks can also be seen from Union Square Park and other areas in Manhattan.

For details on public viewing areas, visit the Macy’s Fireworks “Where to Watch”

For details on road closures associated with the show, go to the MTA website traffic advisory page at

The show is to last 25 minutes.
