Greenlawn hosted a parade for the Harborfields High School boys basketball team, which won a state championship this season. They were the only team from Long Island, boys or girls, to win a state basketball title this year, and it was the first state championship ever won by the school in any sport. The parade began at the corner of East Maple Road and Broadway and concluded at Harborfields High School on Taylor Avenue.
