Two unknown men robbed and assaulted a pedestrian on South Bayview Avenue on Feb. 2. The suspects stole an iPhone.
A 19-year-old male was arrested Feb. 2 in connection with a Dairy Barn robbery that occurred Jan. 5. He allegedly
displayed a knife and stole money
from the cash register.
An unknown armed man driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee stole a cell phone,
a jacket and $18.49 worth of gasoline from the USA gas station on Hempstead Avenue on Feb. 5.
A wallet was stolen Feb. 5 from a 2008 Infiniti on Ashley Terrace.
Rims and tires were stolen Feb. 6 from a 2010 Nissan Maxima on South Frank Street.
A flat-screen TV was stolen from a house on Centennial Avenue on Feb. 1.
An unknown man robbed the
Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Nassau Road on Feb. 3. The suspect displayed a note to a teller, and stole an undetermined amount of money before exiting
on Henry Street.
Laptop computers, cell phones, a desktop computer and an Xbox were stolen from a house on Jerusalem Avenue on Feb. 2.
Power tools and other items were discovered stolen Feb. 4 from a house on Clinton Avenue.
A wallet, discovered stolen from a 2008 Pontiac parked at Walton and Holt streets Feb. 1, was later recovered and returned to owner.
A 21-year-old man was arrested Feb. 5 at BJ's Wholesale Club on Broad Hollow Road and charged with possession of marijuana.
On Feb. 5, two women, 21 and 22, of Bellmore and East Meadow, respectively, were observed stealing almost $170 worth of infant formula from Rite Aid on Merrick Road and fleeing in a 1998 Chrysler Seabring convertible that had been reported stolen, police said. A 23-year-old man from North Bellmore was also was in the vehicle. The three suspects were arrested on various charges.
A 2010 Hyundai parked in the Exit 52 Park and Ride lot was discovered broken into Feb. 1. A GPS unit was reported missing from the vehicle.
A wallet containing credit cards and cash was taken from a vehicle parked on Route 110 on Jan. 31.
An unknown person burglarized the Rollin Dairy Corp. building on Smith Street Jan. 31. A side door was forced open, and surveillance equipment destroyed.
A Stone Boulevard residence was burglarized Feb. 3. Every room was ransacked and cash was taken.
Money and a LCD TV were stolen Feb. 2 from Johnny Fives on Hempstead Turnpike. Entry was made through the side door.
A Mineola man, 41, was arrested after a police chase Feb. 3. Officers responded to a 911 call for a suspicious van in the area of Putnam Avenue and Orange Drive. As the driver attempted to flee, he struck several police vehicles, then proceeded toward an officer, who fired four shots at the vehicle. The defendant lost control of the van in the front lawn of a South Marginal Road residence and was arrested on charges that included second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
A Farmingville man, 26, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with burglarizing Toys 'R' Us and Burlington Coat Factory on Sunrise Highway. An employee at the toy store observed the man allegedly attempting to break into a vending machine. He was observed entering both premises through restricted areas, the report said.
A Seaford woman, 21, was arrested for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving personal injury after allegedly hitting a Seaford man, 21, in the Sunrise Mall parking lot Feb. 1. The victim allegedly was high from sniffing aerosol cans, and his leg was injured.
Two Mongoose bicycles were discovered stolen Feb. 6 from a shed on Michigan Avenue.
Two residences on Clubhouse Road were broken into Feb. 5, and jewelry was stolen.
Robbers entered a home on John Street through a second-floor window, and stole jewelry Feb. 5.
All four rims and tires were discovered stolen from a 2009 Acura parked in a Hillside Avenue driveway Jan. 31.
Tires and rims were stolen from four vehicles at Smithtown Acura on Middle Country Road on Jan. 31.
