An attempted residential burglary on Garfield Street occurred on March 4.

East Meadow

Jewelry was stolen from a home on Albermarle Avenue on March 4.

A 1993 Honda Civic was stolen from in front of a house on Coakley Street on March 6.

A GPS unit was discovered stolen March 1 from a vehicle on Morris Drive.


Cash and a flat-screen TV were discovered stolen March 2 from Bollywood Performing Arts on West Old Country Road.

Cash was discovered stolen from the register at Hicksville Sweet Shop on South Broadway on March 4.


The front window of a Biltmore Boulevard residence was damaged by a BB gun pellet March 2.

Two metal signs were discovered stolen March 3 from a concrete retaining wall on Hicksville Road.

Four tires and rims were discovered stolen March 3 from two 2009 Nissan 370Zs parked in a dealership lot on Sunrise Highway.

A Massapequa man, 24, was arrested March 5 and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. He was caught on surveillance tape stealing the purse of a co-worker at Best Yet Market on Merrick Road.

Massapequa Park

Windows on two vehicles parked on Pacific Street were discovered broken March 5.


Jewelry and a camcorder were discovered stolen from a residence on Stuyvesant Avenue on March 1.

North Massapequa

GPS units were discovered stolen from three vehicles parked on North Maple and North Pine streets

on Feb. 28.


A Roosevelt woman, 18, was arrested March 4 on third-degree grand larceny and possession of forged instrument charges. She is charged with cashing a $4,700 fraudulent check at Chase Bank on Wantagh Avenue on March 3. She was apprehended the following day when she returned to the bank attempting to withdraw additional funds.


Candy bars were stolen from Hampton Inn on Jericho Turnpike on March 2.

A Hicksville man, 20, was arrested March 1 for allegedly attempting to rob an individual at gunpoint on Powells Avenue.

A laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked on Old Country Road on March 3.



A safe was discovered stolen from a residence on South Drive on Feb. 28.

East Garden City

A 1997 GMC pickup on Old Country Road was discovered stolen March 2.

Garden City Park

A 15-inch flat-screen TV was stolen from a Tenafly Drive residence March 3.


A Hewlett-Packard toner cartridge was stolen March 3 from Staples on Jericho Turnpike.

Laurel Hollow

A slate wall on Moores Hill Road was discovered damaged March 6.


A wallet was stolen at a business on Second Street on March 3.

North New Hyde Park

A laptop was stolen March 3 from a vehicle parked on Union Turnpike.


A 1993 Ford Taurus was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Jefferson Avenue on March 5.


A vehicle on Underhill Boulevard was stolen March 1.

Cash was stolen from a vehicle parked on Hicks Avenue on March 6.


A 2000 Honda Civic was reported stolen from in front of a house on Davis Avenue on March 3.

An attempted burglary occurred March 5 at the Kenneth Mock law office on Nassau Road.


Two red Sharps medical waste containers were discovered stolen March 4 from Woodbury Center for Health Care on Jericho Turnpike.

West Hempstead

Jewelry and a cell phone were discovered stolen from a residence on Walnut Street on March 5.

Three laptop computers and a TV were stolen Feb. 28 from a residence on Chautauqua Avenue.

Copper piping was discovered stolen March 4 from a Woodfield Road

residence. The home's glass rear door was broken to gain entry.

A pedestrian was robbed March

4 at Chestnut Street and Hempstead Gardens Drive by a man with a knife. The suspect, about age 18, stole a cell phone from the victim and fled on foot.
