An 18-month-old boy died and at least 14 people were injured when a house exploded in Brentwood Tuesday, Suffolk County police said.

A baby boy was killed and multiple injuries, some critical, were reported after a home exploded in Brentwood. The home on Prospect Drive off Evergreen Avenue was reduced to rubble and damaged several homes nearby. Multiple fire departments and emergency agencies responded to the scene. (Aug. 14, 2012)
