Huntington-Smithtown police report, Jan. 10

Reports from county or village police, Dec. 27-Jan. 2


A group of youths jumped on the trunk of a 2002 Lincoln in a parking lot on Route 25 on Dec. 28, damaging the car. No arrests were made.

An Amityville woman, 48, was arrested at the Target store on Henry Street Dec. 29 and charged with petty larceny. She is charged with stealing clothing, cell phones, body wash and a blender.

East Northport

A basement window of St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Vernon Valley Road was pried open Dec. 28, and a credit card was stolen from the office.


Assorted jewelry and personal checks were stolen from a house on Chestnut Street on Dec. 29. Entry was gained by prying open a window.

Kings Park

The rims and tires were stolen from a 2010 Cadillac Escalade parked in a driveway on Gingerbread Road on Dec. 28.


Tires and rims were discovered stolen Dec. 29 from a 2007 Cadillac Escalade parked in a driveway on Meadow Road.

St. James

A St. James man, 30, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with burglary, third degree in connection with an incident earlier that day at Spages Pharmacy on Lake Avenue. The suspect is charged with entering the pharmacy by cutting a hole in the roof, stealing prescription medications and then exiting by smashing the front door.



Items were reported stolen Dec. 27 from a Jeep Cherokee parked on Arthur Street.


Portable radios were stolen from a vehicle in the Applebee's restaurant parking lot on Route 454 on Dec. 27.


A burglar entered a house on Split Cedar Drive on Dec. 27 and stole jewelry, cash, a TV, a Sony PlayStation, and an Acer Netbook. Entry was gained by breaking the door window.


A plate-glass window was discovered broken Dec. 28 at Microcontrollers Suppliers on Koehler Avenue.
