At its Oct. 21 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

East Islip: Granted Edward and Patricia Cannon permission to build a one-story addition and a two-story addition and retain a shed and deck with insufficient side yards and floor area, west side of Wyandanch Avenue, north of Dixie Lane.

West Islip: Granted Lisa Torsiello permission to build a roofed-over patio with insufficient floor area, west side of Cutter court, south of Viking Drive.

West Islip: Granted Dean Poupis permission to build a one-story addition and a second-story addition with insufficient floor area, east side of Cutter Court, west and south of Viking Drive.

At its Oct. 28 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Brentwood: Granted Elizer Padilla and Amparo Armengol permission to retain a second-story deck and a roofed-over patio with insufficient side yard, north side of Crescent Drive, east of Washington Avenue.

Ronkonkoma: Granted Frank and Lynn Saitta permission to retain a shed and 6-foot fence on property line with insufficient side and rear yards and floor area, southwest corner of Victory and Rosevale drives.

West Islip: Granted Peter C. and Susan L. Sutton permission to retain an in-ground pool and pool equipment with insufficient front yard and relocate 6-foot fence to property line with insufficient front yard, west side of Pace Drive South, south of Montauk Highway.

West Islip: Granted Paul A. and Donna Cama permission to retain a shed, pool patio and retaining wall with insufficient side and rear yards and floor area, east side of Babylon Avenue, north of Hunter Avenue.
