At its Nov. 18 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Bayport: Granted Laurence Torsiello permission to retain pillars, two retaining walls and tennis court, and include the slate patio on the southerly property line, with insufficient front and side yards and rear-yard occupancy, east side of South Ocean Avenue, north of Cross Meadow Lane.

Islip: Granted Joseph and Darlene Signa permission, as amended, to build a one-story addition and a roofed-over porch and retain a patio and shed with insufficient side and rear yards and floor area, north side of Crystal Brook Court, north of 47th Street.

Islip: Granted Lorraine M. Roys permission to build a second-story addition with insufficient side yard, south side of Elm Street, west of Ferndale Boulevard.

Islip: Granted Anthony and Leslie Lomonaco permission to subdivide a lot into two parcels, and retain a two-story dwelling on parcel one, with insufficient side yard, and build a conforming dwelling on parcel two, east side of West Bayberry Road, north of Great South Bay.

West Islip: Granted Daniel and Bernadette Lafferty permission to build one-, two- and second-story additions with balcony and retain a roofed-over patio and decks with insufficient side yards, floor area and setback, west side of Tahlulah Lane, south of Wagstaff Lane.

West Islip: Granted Gary Ferruglari permission to build a second-story addition and retain a one-story addition, shed and patio with insufficient side yards and floor area, west side of West Bay Drive, south of Bay Eighth Street.
