At its Nov. 18 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:
Bayport: Granted Laurence Torsiello permission to retain pillars, two retaining walls and tennis court, and include the slate patio on the southerly property line, with insufficient front and side yards and rear-yard occupancy, east side of South Ocean Avenue, north of Cross Meadow Lane.
Islip: Granted Joseph and Darlene Signa permission, as amended, to build a one-story addition and a roofed-over porch and retain a patio and shed with insufficient side and rear yards and floor area, north side of Crystal Brook Court, north of 47th Street.
