Gabriel's World: Watch documentary about Long Island boy allergic to all foods

It's probably safe to say you've never met a child like Gabriel Dispenziere. Gabriel, who has eosinophilic esophagitis, is allergic to nearly all food. The condition affects about one in 2,000 people in the United States, less than 1 percent of those with the condition have as severe a case as Gabriel. It's probably safe to say you've never met a child like Gabriel Dispenziere.

The 9-year-old Riverhead boy who has eosinophilic esophagitis is allergic to nearly all food. He also has to avoid contact with people who have food on their hands or breath. The condition affects about one in 2,000 people in the United States, less than 1 percent of those with the condition have as severe a case as Gabriel. 

For years, Gabriel couldn't attend school, but recently, a robot system has expanded his world by allowing him to be a virtual fourth grader at Aquebogue Elementary School.
