The westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway in Syosset reopened after being shut down for more than two hours Friday night due to a crash, Nassau County police said.

Three lanes at Exit 43, South Oyster Bay Road, had been closed off after a crash involving a truck at 6:45 p.m., police said.

Shortly after they reopened at 9:15 p.m., a police spokesman said he did not have any further details, such as injuries and the number of vehicles involved.
