Life Skills students receive pre-prom treat

Four students from the Valley Stream Central High School District’s Life Skills program, housed at South High School, recieve some pre-prom pampering from their peers in cosmetology classes. They plan to attend a prom called Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, as a way to provide an unforgettable experience for students with special needs. The district bussed the Life Skills girls to Central High School, where the cosmetology students will style their hair and treat them to manicures and makeup in a professional salon setting.
