New timetables take effect Monday on all branches of the Long Island Rail Road.

Some of the changes are seasonal, to serve the East End, and some deal with construction projects, the railroad said.

Riders can pick up a copy of the timetables or get them on the web at http://web.mta.info/lirr/Timetable/.

The reconstruction of the Hicksville station enters a new phase Monday that requires the railroad to take Platform A on the north side out of service for demolition and replacement. That means Track 1 will be out of service for the summer, with all trains arriving and departing from Platform B, Tracks 2 and 3 on the south side of the station, the railroad said.

The loss of Track 1 will result in track changes and schedule adjustments at all times for trains serving Hicksville, the railroad said.

Beginning Monday, a new summer “fisherman’s train” will leave Ronkonkoma at 3:49 a.m. and arrive in Greenport at 5:04 a.m., the railroad said. The summer “Cannonball express” begins Monday with a 4:06 p.m. train from Penn Station to the Hamptons and Montauk, the LIRR said.

Weekend work at Lynbrook station has been completed and train service at Lynbrook will be restored to every half-hour starting on Memorial Day weekend, the railroad said.
