Long Island final voter registration numbers are in and show the ranks of eligible voters have swollen by 91,773 for Election Day, making 1,953,199 eligible to cast ballots.
Nassau has 998,567 eligible voters — 380,558 Democrats and 323,142 Republicans.
Suffolk has 954,632 eligible voters — 315,157 Democrats and 303,452 Republicans.
Those not aligned with any party total 228,157 in Nassau and 256,992 in Suffolk.
In Nassau, the number of registered Democrats has increased by 15,590, since the beginning of the year.
Republican ranks have grown by 4,267.
Nonaligned Nassau voter ranks grew by 13,794.
Suffolk Democrats also outpaced Republicans, growing by 16,889, to the GOP’s 11,789.
The number of nonaligned voters in Suffolk grew by 16,580.
