Suffolk County police officer Mark Collins released after he was shot twice

Suffolk County police officer Mark Collins was shot twice while chasing Sheldon Leftenant in Huntington Station on March 12, 2015, authorities said. Collins was discharged from Stony Brook University Hospital on March 15, 2015.
