Nassau and Suffolk anniversaries


COLAVOLPE of Bethpage were wed April 18, 1959. Joseph is retired from the Long Island Rail Road, does handiwork on the side and enjoys golf. Mary enjoys knitting and quilting. One of their three children is deceased. They also have six grandchildren.


ALBANESE of Bay Shore were wed April 17, 1962, in New York's Chinatown, where they met. They celebrated with family and friends at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore. A long-awaited honeymoon cruise in the Mediterranean is planned for June. Rose Ann retired from the Suffolk County Department of Labor and is now an accomplished artist. Sam retired from the New York City Transit Authority after serving in the Navy as a submariner. He is an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. They have four children and 12 grandchildren.

45thVICKY AND AL COLETTI who reside in Smithtown and Tucson, Ariz., were wed April 2, 1967. They have been together since they were 15. They both are registered financial consultants and share a passion for traveling countrywide by motorcycle.


MURPHY of Lindenhurst were wed April 8, 1972, at St. Aidan's Church in Williston Park. They celebrated at a dinner with family. John is now retired and is an elder in his church. Marion is planning on retiring in September from the BOCES school where she has worked for 25 years. They have two children and two grandsons, with another due in May.

25thMERYL AND IRA GAIR of North Massapequa were wed April 5, 1987. They celebrated with a weekend in Manhattan. They have three children and two granddaughters.
