Nassau and Suffolk anniversaries, Feb. 24

65thGRACE AND JOHN CIFELLI of Holbrook were wed Jan. 31, 1948, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Astoria, Queens. They celebrated with a family dinner at The Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. John retired as an automobile service manager at Raymond Buick in Bay Shore. Grace retired as a nursing assistant at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. They have five children, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.


POLLIO of East Quogue, formerly of Elmont, were wed Nov. 15, 1952, at St. Boniface Church in Elmont. They celebrated with a family brunch on the water at The Inn Spot in Hampton Bays. The couple are the former owners of Andy's Trucking in Elmont. They have six daughters, 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

50thKATHLEEN AND RONALD LEBEDZ of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Smithtown, were wed Nov. 17, 1962. They celebrated at a party with family and friends. Ron is a retired teacher from the Smithtown school district. Kathleen is a retired court reporter. They have three children and seven grandchildren.


HILSKY of Centerport were wed Feb. 16, 1963, at St. Boniface in Elmont. A family trip on a yacht around Manhattan is planned. Bob is a retired teacher and coach from the Hicksville school district. Mary Ellen is a retired special-education teacher from the Huntington school district. They have five daughters and 15 grandchildren.

50thRITA AND JOHN KALINOGLU of Merrick were wed Nov. 25, 1962. They celebrated at a party at The Coral House in Baldwin with friends and family. They owned the Cow's Corner Deli in Merrick for more than 30 years. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

50thLORI AND TOM FITZPATRICK of Baldwin were wed Jan. 29, 1988. At the time, Tom had just returned from a six-month overseas deployment with the U.S. Navy. They wed at Freeport Village Hall by Mayor Dorothy Storm. They celebrated at a reception at Pompeii Restaurant in West Hempstead. They have two children.
