Nassau and Suffolk anniversaries, July 14

70thELIZABETH (BETTY) AND EDWARD (ED) HUNERBERG of Ridge, formerly from Mineola and East Williston, were wed July 10, 1943. They celebrated with family. Betty and Ed honeymooned at the Garden City Hotel. Ed served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. They have three children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

65thMIRIAM AND EARL VALDER of Franklin Square were wed June 19, 1948. They celebrated with a dinner at Park Restaurant in Franklin Square and with a cruise to the Bahamas. Earl retired from Sperry after 35 years. He is a World War II veteran and a mediator for the Town of Hempstead Small Claims Court. Miriam is a retired seamstress and a homemaker. They have two children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

65thTERESA AND MIKE MILONE of Oceanside were wed June 13, 1948, at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre. They celebrated with family at Alias Smith & Jones in Oceanside. They have two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

60thROSE AND RICK MALTAGHATIof Massapequa were wed June 7, 1953. They celebrated with family followed by a weekend in Atlantic City, where they honeymooned. Rick is a Korean War veteran and retired from Atlantic Bus Co. They have three children, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

50thROSEMARIE AND CHARLES SPINELLI of East Patchogue were wed April 27, 1963. They celebrated at Mama's in Holbrook. Rosemarie is former owner of a property management company in Holbrook. Charles is a retired Teamster with Local 560. They have two children and three grandchildren.

25thANN AND ANTHONY OCHOA of Shirley were wed June 4, 1988, at St. Jude's Church in Mastic Beach. They celebrated with a two-night stay in Manhattan. Anthony is a maintenance worker for Heatherwood Communities in Suffolk County. Ann works for the William Floyd school district. They have two sons.
