Nassau anniversaries, Aug. 5

60thJOSEPHINE AND TONY MURELLO of Oceanside and Royal Palm Beach, Fla., were wed Jan. 13, 1952, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Inwood. They raised their family in North Lawrence and moved recently to Oceanside. They celebrated their 80th birthdays and anniversary in April with a party hosted by their two children and surrounded by family and friends at the Oceanside Fire Department. Tony was an aircraft mechanic at Kennedy Airport before becoming a teacher, retiring as a teacher of aircraft maintenance at Nassau BOCES. Josephine worked for the Lawrence School District for 28 years, retiring as an accounts clerk. They have two grandchildren.

50thPAT AND ED (SONNY) FUSCO of Shirley celebrated June 15 at a surprise party at Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jefferson hosted by their three sons and their families. Ed is retired from the Northport VA Medical Center. Pat is a retired secretary from the William Floyd school district and works part time at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Library. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.



SWIDERSKI of Brentwood were wed May 12, 1962. They celebrated with family and friends at the Miller Place Inn. A trip to Italy is planned. Anita is retired from Sagamore Children's Psychiatric Center in Dix Hills. Ed is retired from U.S. Trust Co. in Manhattan. They have three children and five grandchildren.

40thCAROL AND SKIP MOELLER of Westbury were married on May 28, 1972, at the Fontaine-bleau in Westbury. They were high school sweethearts at Clarke High School. They spent several years in surrounding communities before returning to Westbury. They celebrated in a secluded house in the Pennsylvania Poconos with their three sons, two daughters-in-law, one fiancée and two granddaughters.

25thKELLY AND ED HUTZLER of Bellport were wed May 30, 1987. They celebrated with a trip to Martha's Vineyard. The couple were high school sweethearts at Bayport-Blue Point High School. Ed is self-employed at Triple H. Concrete in Ronkonkoma. Kelly is a homemaker. They have four children.


MICHAEL KOHANSOV of North Massapequa were married July 5, 1987, after meeting via Newsday personals. They celebrated with friends and family. Michael retired after three decades teaching chemistry and physics in New York City public schools. Harriet was a nurse before retiring as president of Integrity Limousine Service. They have six children and 10 grandchildren. Daniels
