ANNA AND ANTHONY
LUBRANO of Middle Island, formerly of Wantagh, were married June 30, 1945. Anthony is a retired foreman with Permag Industries in Jamaica, Queens. Anna is a homemaker who plays the piano and is known as "The Piano Lady of Birchwood." They have three children (their fourth is deceased), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
EMMA AND ANDREW
MARGIE AND JIM HEPP of Glen Cove and Largo, Fla., were married June 10, 1950. They celebrated with family and friends at the Swan Club in Roslyn. Jim is retired from the advertising industry and enjoys playing tennis. Margie is a homemaker, an avid gardener, and loves to cook and do volunteer work. They have three children and six granddaughters.
RUTH AND FREDERICK
GOTTCENT of West Hempstead were married May 21, 1950. They celebrated with family and friends at a garden party at their home. They have two daughters, four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
ANN AND SAL MENNITI of East Meadow were married May 29, 1960. They met at a church dance at St. Vincent's in Manhattan. Sal is a retired inspector with the City of Long Beach, and Ann is a homemaker. They celebrated with a renewal of vows at St. Raphael's Church in East Meadow. Their three children hosted a party for them at the American Legion in Levittown. They have five grandchildren.
PHYLLIS AND JOHN PETERS of North Massapequa were married June 5, 1960, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Astoria, Queens. They celebrated with a cruise to the Virgin Islands, St. Maarten and the Bahamas. John, a Navy veteran, is retired from the Wire Lathers Local 46 and the New York City Department of Highways. Phyllis is a graduate of Bryant High School in Woodside. She worked for Sperry Corp. and in medical billing. They have four children and eight grandchildren. Compiled by Diane Daniels
