Nassau County anniversaries


URSULA AND WILLIAM VOBIS, residents of Massapequa Park for the past 54 years, were wed Sept. 10, 1950, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated with their family at Pompei Restaurant in West Hempstead. William retired as an executive at a telecommunications company and volunteers at his Knights of Columbus lodge. Ursula is a homemaker who enjoys volunteering, the Red Hats Society and baking. They have three children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


CAROLYN AND DINO CIRCO of Hauppauge were wed Aug. 21, 1960, at Sts. Simon & Jude Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a party at Larkfield Manor in East Northport. Dino is a retired carpenter. Carolyn retired from Citibank in Manhattan. They have three daughters and six grandchildren.


MARY ANN AND DOMINICK DARIO of Ronkonkoma celebrated Aug. 27 at Panico's Community Market in Smithtown with family and friends and a trip to Atlantic City - a gift from their children. They also celebrated at an anniversary Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Ronkonkoma. Dominick is retired from the New York City Transit Authority. Mary Ann retired as a Tupperware manager. They have four children and three grandchildren.


EVELYN AND ALLEN ZANONE of Elmont were married Aug. 31, 1969, at Incarnation Church in Queens Village. Al is a jogger. Evelyn loves to crochet. They have three children and four grandchildren.


EMILY AND LOUIS ROBLES of Holbrook were married Aug. 22, 1970. They celebrated with a cruise to Bermuda. Louis is a retired New York City police officer. Emily retired from Suffolk County Social Services. They have two children and two grandsons.


CAROL AND ANGELO SENA of North Bellmore celebrated their anniversary on Sept. 22 and in the summer took a trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas. They have two children.
