60th

CARMELA AND SILVIO SERANI of Plainview were wed June 9, 1951. They celebrated at a special event. Silvio is a retired New York City firefighter with 36 years of service. He is also a retired chiropractor who practiced for 35 years in Plainview. He served in World War II and received two medals. Carmela retired in 2010 from the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District after 26 years in various jobs. They have three daughters and two granddaughters.

60th

CATHERINE AND THOMAS BROWN of Coram were wed June 9, 1951, in Most Holy Trinity Cathedral in Brooklyn. A family dinner is planned. They lived in Cypress Hills and moved to Coram in 1981. They have four children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

50th

KATHLEEN AND RALPH

MOFFETTONE of Wantagh were wed June 4, 1961. They met at a dance at St. Fortunata's Church in Brooklyn in 1958. They renewed their vows at Maria Regina Church in Seaford May 1 with their three sons, their wives and six grandchildren in attendance. They celebrated afterward with a dinner at Umberto's in Wantagh. Both are retired New York State civil servants.

50th

JUDY AND BOB VOLONINO of Commack were wed April 29, 1961, in Astoria. Their children surprised them with a trip to the hotel where they honeymooned in Miami Beach. A family cruise is planned. Bob is retired from the New York City Fire Department and the U.S. Postal Service. Judy is a retired office manager at Huntington Eye Care. They have four children and 12 grandchildren.

EILEEN AND GARY NASO of Garden City Park were wed May 1, 1976. They celebrated with a trip to Mexico. They have two children.

30th

JULIEANN AND CHARLES GALEANO of Deer Park were wed May 24, 1981. They celebrated with a cruise to Bermuda. Charles is the owner of Energy Savings Systems plumbing and heating in Deer Park. Julieann works for Sartorius Stedim North America Inc. in Bohemia. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
