60thCAROLYN AND JOSEPH BARRY, residents of Garden City, were wed May 26, 1952. They met and married in Corona, where they lived until 15 years ago. They celebrated with family in Atlantic City. Joseph is a retired executive from Sears and an Air Force veteran who served in World War II. Carolyn is a retired executive vice president with Interep Radio. They have two married daughters and three grandchildren.

60thDOROTHY AND EDWARD J. ALFORD of Garden City and Ocean Ridge, Fla., were wed May 17, 1952, in Manhattan. They celebrated by renewing vows at St. Vincent Ferrer R.C. Church in Florida with much of their family flying in to surprise them at the ceremony and then attending a festive luncheon. Edward is retired from the FBI and enjoys horse racing. Dorothy was a homemaker and is an avid bridge player. They have four children and seven grandchildren.


MCDERMOTT of Massapequa were wed June 12, 1962, at St. Anthony's Church in Oceanside. They celebrated with a renewal of vows on May 20 at Maria Regina Church in Seaford, followed by a family dinner. On June 3, a party was held in their honor on Shelter Island attended by family and friends. Ray is a retired 55-year member of the New York City District of Carpenters. Barbara is a homemaker. A summer trip to the Berkshires is planned. They have three children and four grandchildren.


DOMENICHELLO of Hauppauge were wed May 28, 1962. They celebrated with a family dinner at Ciro's in Hauppauge followed by a celebration at their home. Richard owns and manages an environmental business. Marianna is a full-time grandmother. They have four children and 10 grandchildren.

30thLISA AND LOU BELL of Farmingdale were wed May 16, 1982. They met at SUNY Farmingdale in 1980 and knew after six weeks they would get married. A cruise to Bermuda is planned. Lou is retired. Lisa works part time. They enjoy bowling, skiing and taking long walks together. They have three children.
