67thEVA AND ED COLLINS, residents of Hicksville since 1955, were wed Oct. 7, 1945. They celebrated with family. Eva is a retired crossing guard, and Ed is retired from Sears as a manager. They have three children, three grandchildren and a great-grandson.


PITERMAN, of Lido Beach, were wed Aug. 20, 1957. They celebrated with a limo ride into Manhattan to see "Cirque du Soleil: Zarkana" and a have dinner at the legendary Carmine's with their four children and three grandchildren. Ahuva is a retired Hebrew teacher, and Aharon is retired from the construction business.


SIRAKOWSKI of East Meadow were wed Sept. 29, 1962, with a reception at the Freeport Yacht Club. Barbara was on a date at Mack and Yogi's when she met John. It was love at first sight. John enjoys golf; Barbara enjoys gardening. They both love going out to dinner and spending time with family. They have three married children and six grandchildren.

50thMARY AND BOB EVANS of East Meadow were wed Sept. 22, 1962. They celebrated with dinner at Puglia's in Garden City with family. They still look forward to date night every Friday for dinner and a movie. Mary is retired from the East Meadow school district as a secretary, and Bob is retired from FedEx. Bob likes to golf; Mary enjoys shopping. They both enjoy spending time with their family. They have five children and 12 grandchildren.


VILLANUEVA of Fort Salonga, formerly of Floral Park, were wed March 5, 1972, at St. Margaret Mary's R.C. Church in Astoria. They celebrated with a family dinner and a 14-day cruise to Italy, the Greek Isles and Croatia. Sonia is a hospital administrator at NuHealth at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. George is a retired operations manager for Bloomingdale's after 37 years. He is still active in his doo-wop singing career with The Eternals. They enjoy music, theater, travel and quality time together. They have two children.
